Trade, barter, buying and selling services, goods and products are the primary commercial mode for survival especially among Filipino. Tracing back from the Philippine history, Filipino survived with the goods and craft they were able to produce from their respective resources and eventually trade to different group of merchants and mercenaries with anything with financial value. Such goods were spices, fruits, wood crafts and metal crafts. But the most enduring metal which value never withers is gold.

The gold remains its considerable financial value for anyone.  Anything embedded with at least small amount of such precious element already possesses a monetary significance such as gold ring, necklace, and risk watch. Because of its never fading value, people keep on engaging in business where they can trade cash for gold.  Pawnshop, buy and sell station can be considered gold buyers for they indeed consider such metal with great value as one means to supply their basic needs and to a large extent survive.
